Airports

International guests travelling by air will most likely arrive to the International Airport Boryspil. The Airport's website contains timetable as well as the detailed information on airport services. You can reach the center of Kyiv either by taxi or "Atass" bus service (see airport website for timetable). Approximate fare is 30-40 USD for taxi and 5 USD for "Atass" buses. Travel to Kyiv from airport takes 30-50 minutes.

Another city airport "Kyiv" (Zhuliany) serves mostly domestic flights and some international flights from NIS countries.

Railway Station

International guests travelling by train will most likely arrive to the Central Railway Station. You can check the timetable on Ukrainian Railways website (information is available in Ukrainian and Russian only).

Map of Kyiv

For better orientation in Kyiv, Organizing Committee prepared two maps.

The first map shows the region around the place where conference will be held. The following objects are highlighted on the map: Conference site, "Mir" hotel, Institute for Nuclear Research, Moscow square, subway station "Lybidska", the route of buses from "Boryspil" airport.

The second map shows central part of Kiev: Central Railway Station, Khreschatik st., Independence sq., National University, National Opera, Parliament and Mariinskiy palace. This map joins the first one in the region of subway station "Lybidska".

Map scale is 1:27000, i.e. 1 cm on the map equals to 270 m on land. For example, the distance between "Mir" hotel and conference site (Amurska sq.) is 1 km 890 m.

Travel in Kyiv

The best way of travelling in Kyiv is taxi. If you stay in the hotel located in the center of Kyiv, the taxi to the conference site will cost approximately 10 - 15 USD.

If you prefer to use public transport (bus, trolleybus, subway), the easiest way to get to the conference is to use subway to reach the subway station "Lybidska" and then take the bus #38 or 84 to the "Amurska ploscha" station.

The same buses will convey you to the conference site from Moscow square and "Mir" hotel (see the map).
