Common information ^

The 4th International Conference on Current Problems in Nuclear Physics and Atomic Energy (NPAE-Kyiv2012) will be held from September 3 to September 7, 2012 in Kyiv, Ukraine. This conference is the continuation of the conferences held in Kyiv in 2006, 2008 and 2010.

The conference will consist of plenary, parallel and poster sessions. Plenary sessions are composed of invited talks, and parallel sessions consist of invited talks and oral presentations selected from the contributions. The working language of the Conference is English.

The NPAE-Kyiv2012 conference is organized by the National Academy of Sciences  of Ukraine (NASU, http://www.nas.gov.ua)  the Institute for Nuclear Research of NASU, Kyiv (KINR, http://www.kinr.kiev.ua) in collaboration with the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (NTSU, http://www.univ.kiev.ua).

Conference site ^

The Conference will take place at the Institute of Postgraduate Education (IPE)of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, located about 5 km south of downtown (Vasylkivska str., 36, Kyiv), near Metro station Vasylkivska.

Conference proceedings ^

Proceedings of the Conference will be published by Publishing Department of KINR and will be available on the Conference site. Call for Abstracts ^

Authors are invited to submit a one page abstract (300-500 words) by June 1, 2012. The book of abstracts will be issued before the Conference. Abstracts should be upload using personal page on this site. The rules for abstract preparation is provided in the second circular or in news section this site (or here). At the beginning, it is necessary to make registration on the conference web site and after upload the word file of abstract(s) by using the login page of the conference site.

Poster Session ^

The meeting room for all poster sessions will be Conference hall which is located on the first floor of the Conference site. It will be available for poster setup at 8:40 each morning, which allows enough time for authors to mount their posters prior to the start of the formal session.
Poster size is 1.20 m wide, 0.9 m high. For detailed information about poster sessions, see INSTRUCTION FOR POSTER

Accommodation ^

Conference participants can lodge in the hotel complex of the IPE in the single(~40 USD per night) and double(~20 USD per night for one bed) rooms of European standards. The Conference sessions will be held at the same building. Meals (breakfast and/or lunch) will be organized at the IPE upon request (charged extra). The participants can also get accommodation in the hotels:

A number of luxury hotels will also be available with assistance of the Organizing Committee upon request.
Reservation of accommodation has to be done until 06 August, 2012.

More detailed information on the Conference you may find in the 1st Circular and will be given in the 2nd Circular at the beginning of February 2012.

Conference fee and registration ^

Registration fee for participants 250 Euro.
Registration fee for participants from Ukraine and the CIS countries       70 Euro.
Registration fee for accompanying persons 70 Euro.

Registration fee includes book of abstracts, coffee breaks, welcome party, conference dinner, social events, book of proceedings (books of abstracts and proceedings for participants).
Limited number of financial supports will be available for students and young scientists.
