Sightseeing bus tour in the ancient central part of Kyiv, including a visit to St. Sophia (a cathedral built in the 11th century, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites) can be arranged (20 September 2009, from 15:00 to 19:00). The expected price of the tour is 180 UAH (provided that there are at least 10 participants). Those who are willing to participate are kindly asked to send e-mail requests to Dr. V. Lutsenko as soon as possible.
Conference participants willing to visit the National Opera House of Ukraine ("Turandot" by Puccini), Wednesday, September 23 are kindly asked to inform Dr. V. Lutsenko by e-mail as soon as possible. A ticket costs 130 - 150 UAH.
Those who would like to attend the conference dinner on September 22 can buy tickets during the registration. Preliminary cost is 400 UAH. The dinner will be held in the restaurant of Ukrainian cuisine "Khatynka" (hyperreference will show panoramic views of the restaurant).
There are many banking machines (round-the-clock) and exchange offices in the area where the conference will be held.
