1. HIGH  ENERGY  EXITATION  REGION  OF  24Mg

IN  THE  12С(16О,16О,8Ве)a  REACTION  STUDY

            The 24Mg states in the energy excitation from 35 to 52 MeV were observed in complete kinematical study of 4-particle 16O+12C ® 16O + 3α reaction. These states correspond to excitation of 16Og.s.+ 8Begs system. The energy widths of these states are around 1MeV. It cannot describe all states only one rotation sequence with the moment of inertia 93 кеV, which can be treated as possible manifestation of different deformations in 24Mg in this reaction.

 

2. MECHANISM  OF  THE  9Ве(11В, 12В)8Ве REACTION

            Angular distribution of the 9Ве(11В, 12В)8Ве reaction were measured at Еlab(11В) = 45 MeV for the transitions to the ground states of 12В і 8Ве and to the 0,953 МеV (2+) excited state of 12В and 2,94 MeV (2+) excited state of 8Be. The data were analyzed within the coupled-reaction-channels (CRC) method. One- and two-step transfers of nucleons and clusters were included in the coupling scheme. It was found that the neutron transfer dominates in the 9Ве(11В, 12В)8Ве reaction. The parameters of the 12В + 8Ве optical model potential were deduced.

 

3. DIPOLE  POLARIZABILITY  OF  WEAKLY-BOUND  NUCLEI  IN  THE  EXTERNAL ELECTRIC  FIELD

            The expression for the weakly-bound particle elastic scattering amplitude with taking into account the polarizability of incident particle without using of the adiabatic approximation has been obtained. It is shown that the non-adiabatic effects are the ground of additional energy dependence of the scattering amplitude and the dynamic polarizability potential.

 

4. DETERMINATION  of  AVERAGE  RESONANCE  PARAMETERS  of  EVEN  Sn  ISOTOPES  FROM  the  ANALYSIS  of  DIFFERENTIAL  NEUTRON  ELASTIC  scattering  cross SECTIONS  In  the  ENERGY  range  1 - 442 keV

The average resonance parameters S0, S1, , , S1,1/2, S1,3/2 were determined from experimental differential neutron elastic scattering cross sections  with the help of the method developed by the authors within the framework of optical model. The parameters are found by fitting of the theoretical expressions, obtained by the authors for sel and for Legendre polynomial expansion factors of differential elastic cross sections ω1, ω2, to their experimental values in the energy range 1 - 442 keV. The analysis of the obtained average resonance parameters is carried out.

 

5. CALCULATION  OF  THE  3He(e, ep)2H  PROCESS

The method of the construction the three-nucleon wave functions proton - deuteron system with using Faddeev equations and hyperspherical functions is proposed for calculation of the  process cross-section.

 

6. SELECTION  OF  THE  INITIAL  CONDITIONS  IN  THE  TUNNELING  TIME  DEFINITION

            The necessity of changing of the initial conditions in the Olkhovsky - Recami definition of the tunneling time is justified. The new initial conditions are proposed which adequately taking into account the irreversibility of the wave packets spreading. The expression for the tunneling time with the new initial conditions is reduced to the form which is convenient for the performing and controlling the accuracy of calculations.

 

7. UtilizatioN  of  liquid  radioactive  wastes  at  WWR-M

            Technology of liquid radioactive waste cleaning at the WWR-M research reactor is considered. Physic-chemical parameters of solutions before an after liquid radioactive waste cleaning are presented. Utilization of water in secondary reactor circuit after liquid radioactive waste cleaning is proved.

 

8. Anomalies  IN  CdTe  MoNOCRYSTALS  as  the  POSSIBLE  MANIFESTATION

            Anomalies, which occur in temperature and current dependencies of resistivity in p-CdTe with partly etched surface possessing electron conductivity is considered as possible high temperature superconductivity of exciton origin.

 

9. properties  of  oxygen  precipitates  in

            It was received the acceleration of defect formation and oxygen precipitation in neutron irradiated and annealed (700 oC) Cz silicon. The possibility of oxygen precipitation temperature decrease was shown for irradiated silicon, that was useful for getter metal impurities by oxide precipitates.

 

10. INFLUENCE  OF  THE  RAMSAUER  EFFECT  ON  THE  ELECTROPHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS  OF  THERMAL  PLASMA  OF  NOBLE GASES  AND  THEIR  MIXTURES

            The influence of the Ramsauer effect on the properties of noble gases and their mixtures is considered. It is revealed the peculiarities of electrophysical characteristics (the discrepancy between electron temperature and gaseous one, electrical conductivity and others transport coefficients) that are due to the Ramsauer effect. For the first time the calculations of pointed characteristics are performed on the base of the method of spherical harmonics for the Boltzmann kinetic equation.

 

11. RADIOFREQUENCY  PLASMA  ION  SOURCES  FOR NUCLEAR  MICROPROBE  FACILITIES

            The hydrogen-helium ion injector comprising newly designed radiofrequency ion source with higher brightness (~ 100 A/(m2rad2eV) and a Wien filter has been designed for use in nuclear microprobe facilities. The helicon discharge was employed for increasing of the radiofrequency source brightness. The radiofrequency ion sources (helicon and multicusp) with compact magnetic systems of permanent magnets have been designed. These ion sources have been operated with current densities of 10 - 130 mA/cm2, plasma densities of 1011 – 1012 cm-3 and radiofrequency power input into the plasma of 40 - 300 W.

 

12. REMOTE  INFLUENCE  OF  IONIZING  RADIATION  ON  THE  PROCESSES

OF  GROWTH  IN  A PLANT  ORGANISM

The research of mutual effect of plant organs during the formation of radiation effect was carried out by means of a local irradiation of roots or stems of Pisum sativum L. seedlings in doses 0,5 - 15,0 Gy. Both stimulating and inhibiting effects of the separate irradiated organ on unirradiated part of a plant were shown. The sign of the effect depended on a dose, but the intensity of exerting depended on the time interval after irradiation. It is established that radiosensitivity of stems is a little bit higher than radiosensitivity of roots. The radiobiological response of stems is more dependent on irradiation of last organism parts than the radiobiological response of roots.

 

13. THE  INVESTIGATION  OF  THE  COMBINED  INFLUENCE  OF  g-IRRADIATION  AND  THE SALT  OF  TOXIC  METAL  CdCl2  FRACTURED  INSERTION  TO  THE  STATE  OF MODELLING  PLANT  ECOSYSTEM

            It was investigated the influence of acute γ-irradiation and fractured insertion of the hard metal cadmium salt to the water culture of maize plants radiocapacity parameters. The control of these characteristics behaviour was carried out through the regular measuring of the residual activity in water by the special injection of tracer, the radioactive 137Cs. After estimation of water and biota radiocapacity indexes, the growth characteristics ratio of absorption and of flow-out velocity, we have concluded that all these characteristics are good representing of changes of the biotic system component’s state. Behaviour of these characteristics is an evidence of the positive influence on biota by fractured insertion of salt CdCl2; and that superposition of radiation action greatly increases the negative influence of toxic metal. For estimation of the different nature factors interaction we have proposed the synergism coefficient. Its behaviour is an evidence of the non-additive interaction of chosen factors. Maximal synergism is present on interaction of acute gamma-irradiation on dose 20 Gy and by insertion of cadmium salt with concentration 50 mkM/l during the time of fraction 6 hours.

 

14. FLUORESCENT  PROBE  INVESTIGATION  OF  MEMBRANE  STRUCTURE  ALTERATIONS IN  RAT  BLOOD  LYMPHOCYTES  UNDER  LOW  DOSE  RATE  g-IRRADIATION

 Physicochemical parameters of membranes of rat blood lymphocytes have been studied. The rats were exposed to the long term external g-irradiation with low dose rate (0,72 cGy/day) with doses of 30, 60 and 100 cGy. It has been found microviscosity and micropolarity alterations of membrane lipid phase of rat blood lymphocytes using pyrene fluorescent probe and also changes of 1-anilinonaphthalene-8-sulfonate binding parameters to membrane surface in rats exposed to the irradiation doses of 60 and 100 cGy. It was drawn a conclusion about oxidizing process enhancement in lymphocyte membranes conditions of long term low dose rate irradiation influence.

 

15. CALCULATION  OF  GAMMA  FIELDS  IN  THE  BOREHOLE  THAT  PASS  THROUGH

HIGHLY  ACTIVE LAYER  OF  SOIL

            The calculation of the fields in a borehole, that pass through thin layer of soil with high activity have been carried out. The correction coefficients to take into account the influence of casing, active layer thickness have been calculated.

 

16. MODIFIED  EXPERIMENTAL  COMPLEX  FOR  INVESTIGATION  OF
NUCLEAR REACTIONS  AT  THE  U-240  ACCELERATOR

            The structure and elements of the experimental complex for investigation of nuclear reactions at the U-240 accelerator are described. The complex is designed for carrying out various fundamental studies as well as solving applied problems. Modern informational technologies used in the experimental complex allow easy rebuilding of computer-based systems of experimental technique, expand computational capabilities and add new elements.

 

17. STOCHASTIC  COOLING  SIMULATION  OF  ION  BEAMS

            An effective accumulation and fast cooling of ion beams and antiprotons are key task of the accelerator facility, which is planned at GSI. A stochastic and an electron cooling are planned to use for obtaining of high cooled ion beams. The stochastic cooling is faster for hot ion beams giving possibility to accumulate effectively ions in a storage ring. In this paper a numerical algorithm for the stochastic cooling by Palmer method in the longitudinal phase space is presented. The algorithm is based on the Fokker - Plank equation with variable coefficients. Stochastic cooling simulations are needed to determinate optimal parameters of the cooling system where the minimal cooling time is reached.

 

18. SCINTILLATION  b-SPECTROMETER  FOR  THE  DETERMINATION  OF  90Sr  CONTENT

IN  ENVIRONMENTAL  OBJECTS

            The design of high-sensitive scintillation b-spectrometer intended for measuring the content of 90Sr in environmental samples against the background 40K and 137Cs is described. The spectrometer includes the plastic detector with developed surface, to be simultaneously used as sample container. The content of 90Sr is determined by measuring b-spectrum in the region 1311 - 2282 keV. The minimum detectable specific activity of spectrometer is 5,0 Bq/kg for solid granular samples with mass 1000 g and - 3,6 Bq/l for water under 1 hour measurement with sample and background.

 

19. APPLICATION  OF  ARTIFICIAL  NEURAL  NETWORKS  FOR  PULSE  SHAPE  ANALYSIS  IN  CdWO4  SCINTILLATORS

            Artificial neural networks was applied to pulse shape analysis in cadmium tungstate scintillators and comparing them with optimal digital filter method was done. For the first time the distinct (» 100 %) discrimination of a and g events has been achieved. An improvement of pulse shape analysis in the 116Cd 2b decay experiment by applying both methods together is discussed.

 

20. MODELLING  OF  TRAJECTORY  FOR  IONS  EXTRACTION  FROM  U-240

CYCLOTRON  BY  CHARGE-STRIPINGS  METHOD

            The computer program for a trajectory calculation of ions, which are extracted from U-240 isochronous cyclotron after charge striping on an internal target is developed. The trajectory calculation of extracted ions enables to choose an optimum position of a target in the internal volume of U-240 isochronous cyclotron. This gives us the possibility to minimize the ion losses during the extraction process.

 

21. EGP-10K  ion  beam  parameters  dilating

            The results of activities on the EGP-10K tandem beam are discussed. The new section of an ion-optic channel is organized, which allows to diagnose the primary beam before its transition through a nominal analyzing magnet. It has enabled activities at the beam energies, which one leave for design limits, mainly to lower values. A capability of diagnostic, control and selection of the structure of primary beam (impurity of atomic and molecular beams, neutrals, heavy ions) is also obtained.
